Provided master planning, budgeting, design, documentation and construction administration for renovation and restoration of this 800 room, 80 year old historic hotel.
Worked with the New York City and New York State Landmark Commission to document and develop record drawings of this National Landmark.
Designed and administered the construction of a new electric elevator, which was built through 21 stories, where none previously existed. This was accomplished while the hotel was in full operation.
Work also included rebuilding main kitchen and kitchen to the Oyster Bar.
Scope of this more than $26 million project was phased over a five-year period.
