The new South End Fire Station is a 10,000 s.f. facility created by renovating an existing 7,000 s.f. factory building and constructing a 3,000 s.f. second story addition. P/B provided the scope of work, programming and bid documents to the City of Stamford Fire & Rescue Department so that prospective design/build firms could bid the design and construction of the proposed facility.

These documents are comprised of three separate Volumes: Vol. 1 Conditions & Requirements of the Proposal and Contract; Vol. 2 Construction Qualify Standards; Vol. 3 Program for Design. The design and construction of the new fire station is based on the direction given in these documents.

P/B provided construction document and shop drawing review and site observation of the on-going construction of this new and much needed facility.
