Preiss/Breismeister and Turner Construction Company were awarded a design-build contract by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Works for The University of Connecticut Health Center Administrative Office Building. The result was a high quality building, which was completed in 1990, ahead of schedule and below budget. The project was the first in a series of current State design-build projects.

The building is 65,000 square feet with the design ability to expand to 110,000 square feet. It is Phase One of a 4-Phase master plan for the University of Connecticut Health Complex.
