This residence evolved from an integration of a sloping site, surrounded on three sides with a curved intersection of streets, a strict program and a context of traditional homes in the area.

The entry to the house is on axis under a recessed overhang, a two-story arched entry space leads under a second floor bridge to the atrium area, topped by a skylight forming a perfect cube and opening on the south side to a glass wall.

On the left side of the entry, the second floor master bedroom suite looks down into double height his and her studies. On the right side of the entry, an open kitchen looks into the south facing a breakfast area and family room with adjacent dining room.

Every effort was made to preserve existing trees on the site and to use landscaping features and a bern to screen the round pool from the adjacent street.
